 Ananova:
Bill Clinton - an apology

Bill Clinton has asked us to make clear that he won't be appearing in commercials for a Chinese men's clothing brand.

We carried a story based on a report by Taiwan's United Daily News suggesting the former US president would be paid $2 million to appear in commercials for the Fapai brand of men's clothing.

Tammy Sun, Clinton's spokeswoman, has now told us that the report is untrue and we have agreed to remove it from our site

"President Clinton was in China to talk about his work against AIDS, and any stories regarding him and advertisements are untrue,'' Sun said.

We would like to apologise to Mr Clinton.
