 Ananova:
Broderick 'would love a Stepford wife'

Matthew Broderick says he likes the idea of the robot wife that features in his new film The Stepford Wives.

The husband of Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker thinks most men would probably be attracted to the idea of an obedient wife willing to satisfy their every desire, as portrayed in the remake.

But Teen Hollywood says the 42-year-old believes the novelty of having such a wife would soon wear off.

He said: "I think if we're honest, there's a creepy side to most men that kind of likes the idea of a Stepford wife.

"But I think after a weekend you'd start to feel bad about yourself and go find a real person."

Broderick plays a TV executive in Frank Oz's remake of Bryan Forbes' classic.

The film also stars Nicole Kidman, Glenn Close, Bette Midler and Christopher Walken.
