 Ananova:
U2's new album 'gets title'

U2's forthcoming album is reportedly to be called Vertigo.

Launch quotes a fansite which claims the domain names for three site addresses all containing the words U2 and Vertigo have been registered by Digital:CC.

Dublin-based multimedia company Digital:CC is co-owned by bassist Adam Clayton's brother.

The previous registered url for the firm was u2allthatyoucantleavebehind.com, the official site for the previous U2 album.

However the fansite did contact U2's publicity director Regine Moylett, who would neither confirm nor deny that Vertigo was the album's name.

She would only say that the name was 'not yet known'.

The album, produced by Steve Lillywhite and Chris Thomas, is due to be released in November.
