Jason has come up with a new conspiracy theory - he fears evictees are being allowed to vote.

He told Victor: "I think Ahmed may be allowed to vote. Maybe the person who leaves gets just one vote."

If this was the case he had great confidence that Ahmed, for one, would do the right thing by him. "Ahmed knows I want to stay longer than one person in here," he said.

Jay has dreams of "sliding through to Week 10", but he's uncertain of his popularity with fellow housemates, says the official Big Brother website.

The muscle fan reckons he can gauge how Stuart will vote, referring to him as "a loyal guy." But Jay worries that Michelle has "a strong power" over her boyfriend and could influence his choice.

Victor thinks that Dan still likes Jason, though recently the hairdresser called the trainee air steward a "miserable c***", so they're not exactly best of friends.

"Shell likes me 'cos I'm Scottish," stated Jay, believing his past friendship with Vanessa might also help him curry favour with Shell.

But Shell has never forgiven Jay for his lack of understanding about her cigarette cravings. Jay thinks he may have worked out the route to Michelle's heart. "I always give her a cuddle, she likes that".
