Britney Spears' fiance has become a father for the second time.

Kevin Federline's former girlfriend, actress Shar Jackson, delivered their baby at an Orange County hospital, Jackson's manager told People magazine.

According to Eonline it is not known what sex the baby is.

It was the second child for Federline, a 26-year-old dancer, and Jackson, 27, who appeared in the US series Moesha. They dated for several years and already have a 2-year-old daughter.

Federline and Spears, 22, announced their engagement earlier this month and are rumoured to be getting married in November.

Spears has told People she plans to meet Federline's children and would like children of her own someday.

"I definitely want to have some kids," she said. "I see myself with four or five."
