Bookies say they will still pay out on the first Big Brother bonk despite suggestions it may not have gone as far as full sex.

Bookmakers earlier agreed to pay out after Michelle and Stuart's antics in their love den under the table.

They based their decision on a coded conversation in which Michelle told Shell she'd had her "immune system boosted".

But, in a later coded conversation, Michelle added: "So you know last night when I was bird watching, I saw a swallow."

However, Paddy Power spokesman Darren Haines said: "In deciding on whether Stuart and Michelle have done the deed, many will be taking the Bill Clinton line on what is considered to be "sexual relations".

"But, in this instance, one swallow does make a summer for Paddy Power's punters and there is plenty of evidence to suggest the loving couple went even further than that.

"As such we feel Michelle has earned the dubious honour of being the first lady to have sex in the BB house and Paddy Power are paying out accordingly."
