Vin Diesel is teaming up with veteran filmmaker Sidney Lumet for his next project.

Find Me Guilty is based on the true story of a mobster who refused to become an informant after his arrest, and subsequently decided to defend himself in court.

The film will begin shooting on location in New York in October, reports trade magazine Variety.
