Britney Spears' friends have reportedly revealed that she has called off her wedding to dancer fiance Kevin Federline after a fight with him.

The Everytime singer was supposed to tie the knot with Federline in an extravagant ceremony on November 20 reports the Daily Sport.

However, according to her friends, the pop star had to be pulled away from Federline by her brother Bryan and Mother Lynne after she gave a verbal lashing to him during a photo shoot for her new perfume Curious and told him that their engagement was history.

"The dispute seemed to erupt over nothing. One minute they were all smiles, the next, it all blew up. There's no way a marriage is on the cards if it carries on like this," a close friend of Britney's said.

"Britney tore into Kevin with a fierce verbal lashing and her minders and mum looked on really embarrassed. She said she didn't want to get married. It wasn't until her brother Bryan and mum Lynne intervened and calmed things down that she stopped shouting," added Britney's friend.
