John Lennon's Rock 'n' Roll covers album is to be re-released with four extra tracks. The album is due out on September 27 and will also feature a new selection of photographs in the booklet, reports NME.com. The bonus tracks are To Know Her Is To Love Her, Angel Baby, Since My Baby Left Me and a reprise of Just Because. Just Because has an alternative ending and a Christmas message to Paul, George, Ringo, Yoko and the British people. On its original release the album paid tribute to John's teenage idols, including Chuck Berry, Gene Vincent, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Ben E. King and Buddy Holly. The album was produced in part by Phil Spector, with Lennon producing most of the sessions. |
