David and Victoria Beckham's third child will reportedly be a boy.

The pair wanted a sister for Brooklyn, five, and Romeo, two, but scans show it's a boy, reports the Sun.

The paper reckons Victoria, 30, told pals her baby was going to be a boy after learning the news.

The couple were too excited to wait until the birth next March and told medics they wanted to know the sex.

Posh was said to be desperate for a girl after having two sons.

But a friend was quoted as saying: "It's fair to say they were a little disappointed, but that soon passed. They're just looking forward to the new arrival."

Meanwhile, the Sun also reckons that EastEnders' Jessie Wallace is expecting a baby girl.

She and fiance Dave Morgan are said to be "delighted".

They are now busy decorating the nursery at Jessie's East London home ready for the November birth.

Jessie has said she would call a girl Iris, after her grandmother who died at Christmas.
