Almost a third of Brits (27%) think the Beckhams will name their child 'Re-al' - after David's football club, a poll has found. One in five believe the baby will be called 'Madrid', according to the research by Sky Digital's new Family Active service. The survey also reveals that one quarter of young people would like to follow the Beckhams by choosing a unique and quirky name for their baby. The research shows men look to their sporting heroes for inspiration, with one in five men choosing Romeo after David Beckham's son. Meanwhile, women opt for more mother-like role models such as Kerry McFadden, with more than a third choosing Molly as their favourite celebrity baby name. Not all stars' babies have aspirational names however - Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's baby Apple was voted the worst celebrity name with 13% of the votes. |
