Avril Lavigne says she loves beer and getting drunk.

"I just want to get wasted, dance and hang out," she said listing her favourite drink as a double shot of Grey Goose vodka on the rocks.

"I'm growing up, I'm changing, I'm becoming a woman," she said.

But, the 19-year-old added she won't stand for bad behaviour and is prepared to get tough if she needs to.

She told men's magazine Maxim her last fight was with another woman who confronted her in a bar about her music.

"Some chick came up to me and got in my face and said something, so I kicked her in the (crotch) and shoved her.

"I don't go looking for fights, but if someone comes up to me and pushes me, I'm not going to take it," she says.

Lavigne, recently linked to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whitley says she's always been attracted to guitarists.

"There's nothing sexier than a guy onstage rockin' out with a guitar."
