Britney Spears is reportedly pregnant.

The star, 22 - on holiday in Fiji with dancer husband Kevin Federline, 26 - was said to be "excited" at the prospect of her first child.

A source told US Weekly Magazine: "Kevin himself called with the good news."

Britney, who wed in a Los Angeles ceremony two months ago after news leaked out about their planned marriage, revealed on US TV she was keen to be a "young mom".

But last night she rubbished the claims that she was expecting reports The Sun.

Her publicist said flatly: "She is not pregnant."

Britney posted a message to fans on her website recently saying: "I am going to take some time off to enjoy life."

The singer, who releases a greatest hits album next month, also sacked her longtime manager in a bid to regain control of her life and career.
