Denzel Washington has said that he is not worth the 20 million dollars he received for starring in the movie Out of Time.

"In my opinion nobody, regardless of their job, is worth so much money," he said.

"I got 650 dollars a week for my first theatre job and I didn't feel any worse than I do now," he added.

Washington is the first black Hollywood actor to secure such a high sum for a movie.

"But every job - acting included - gets boring at some point and even the best salary can't compensate for that," he said.
