 Ananova:
Richard and Judy to interview Madonna

Richard and Judy have landed Madonna as a guest.

The Queen of Pop will talk about her religion Kabbalah on their show later this month.

She will promote her new children's book The Adventures Of Abdi, based on its teachings reports The Sun.

Richard and Judy upped the sofa wars to get Madonna, 46, on their Channel 4 teatime show - after beating off competition from their old programme This Morning.

A Richard and Judy insider said: "They are over the moon. Madonna never usually does daytime shows. This is a major coup. Everyone else was clamouring for her as well."

Despite their major signing, The Paul O'Grady Show still managed to beat Richard and Judy every day last week.

The Lily Savage star pulled in an average of 2.4 million viewers to his teatime slot, with guests including Barbara Windsor and Cilla Black.

Richard and Judy had an average of 1.8million viewers.
