Television bad guy James Gandolfini is happy to quit his role as a mob boss in the Sopranos.

The actor, 43, who earns £250,000 a show as Tony Soprano, said: "I'm ready to go."

The sixth and final series of the show will be screened on Channel 4 next year reports The Sun.
