Sharon Osbourne has admitted she had an abortion when she was just 17 years old.

The X Factor judge says she spent much of her younger years living in a promiscuous and carefree fashion reports Femalefirst.co.uk.

Sharon says she feels in place to judge her three children when they make mistakes but would never dictate to them.

She said: "I would drink so much I would wake up to countless men whose names I don't even know. I had an abortion at 17, before I met Ozzy. I didn't want to, but I did.

"I would never tell my children how they should live their lives."
