Julia Roberts' niece, 13-year-old Emma Roberts, has been signed by Sony Music and is busy recording her debut album.

Emma, daughter of Roberts' brother actor Eric Roberts, has "a great voice," a Sony insider told the New York Post.

Emma is already the star of Nickelodeon's Unfabulous show and has made two movies, Aquamarine and Daisy Winters.
