Steve Bing has secretly met the baby he fathered with actress Liz Hurley for the first time.

The film producer dumped Liz, 38, when she told him she was pregnant and initially refused to have anything to do with Damian.

He said his relationship with Liz was "non-exclusive" and insisted on a DNA test to prove he was the dad.

Liz gave birth to Damian in April 2002 - but Bing, 39, only recently met his son, in New York and London.

A source close to Bing said: "He totally loves him. His son is the brightest thing in his life right now."

His lawyer Lina Goldman said: "He expects to see him much more in the future. He wants to spend more time with his son, more frequently and consistently."

Bing is reportedly dating Nicole Kidman reports The Sun.

Liz is dating millionaire businessman Arum Nayar. A friend said: "She has a beautiful son and a lovely boyfriend. What more could she want?"
