Robbie Williams is reportedly upset that he was not chosen for the reformation of Queen. Paul Rodgers of Free, the band who performed Alright Now, is taking lead vocals for the Queen tour of 2005. However, Robbie is not happy with the decision, reports Digitalspy quoting Concert.com. "I'd have killed for a chance to sing with those guys backing me," Robbie complained. "How cool would that have been? I sang We are the Champions for a movie soundtrack and the band said I did a good job." The band's bassist, John Deacon, said: "I don't want to be nasty, but Robbie is no Freddie Mercury. Freddie can never be replaced - and certainly not him." |
