Kim Medcalf has agreed to star in Celebrity Fame Academy.

Kim, who plays EastEnders Sam Mitchell, impressed producers with her singing at the Christmas party reports The Sun.

An insider said: "They thing she could easily develop a singing career."

Ten celebrities will compete in the show which starts on February 26. The winner will be revealed on Red Nose day, March 11.
