DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles has become the latest celebrity to be evicted from Fame Academy.

Nick's singing during his rendition of Anastacia's Left Outside Alone failed to impress the headmaster of the Academy.

Richard said: "It was a song of two halves. A good performance, but I didn't admire the vocal delivery. In the cold light of day, you are not a good singer."

Debra, Adrian and Nick were the three students to get the least votes from the public reports the Fame Academy website.

Adrian was selected by the judges to return to the Academy, while the students elected to save Debra from expulsion.

Nick took a philosophical view on his departure. "I said I wanted one night when I did a good performance and last night, when we sang Beyond The Sea, was it," he said.
