Jade Goody has been involved in a bust-up in Barbados with another Brit who tried to take her photograph.

Her friend David Haye, 24 - a British cruiserweight boxer - was arrested after allegedly wading in and taking a disc from the man's digital camera.

Jade, 23, clashed with Simon Smith, from London, as he tried to take photos of her, reports the Daily Mirror.

The mum-of-two said: "He started the trouble. David was just sticking up for us. I don't mind anyone taking my picture. I'm a people person."

Ex-schoolmate David, 24 - whom she had not seen for eight years until they bumped into each other on the island - was arrested and bailed after the scuffle outside the luxury Almond Beach Club.

Jade will accompany him as he appears in court on Thursday charged with assault and theft.
