Justin Hawkins is nursing broken ribs and torn leg muscles after falling off a giant donut.

The Darkness singer was injured while on holiday in Dubai reports The Sun.

He was on the donut attached to a speed boat when the accident happened.

He said: "All the skin was stripped off my knees and I tore the big muscle in my right leg. It turned out I'd cracked two ribs too. I was as pale as a ghost and nearly passed out."
