Vernon Kay has landed a £400,000 deal to presenter Hit Me Baby One More Time in America.

Vernon reportedly impressed NBC bosses at his audition in LA reports The Sun.

He will film three one-off episodes, with a view to doing a full series of the show which gives former stars another shot at fame.

Vernon said: "I'm really looking forward to it, and I'm massively excited as I love presenting the show."

The show will start airing in the US on June 2 at 9pm.
