Liam Gallagher says U2 should lighten up a bit. The Oasis frontman couldn't believe a story he'd heard about the Irish group watching a video of their live show after they had come off stage and analysising it. He told Sydney's Daily Telegraph, "W***ers. Haven't they got f**k all better to do? I'd rather be out there getting pi**ed. "I certainly wouldn't go back after a gig and analyse it. No wonder they're the biggest band in the world: 'Oh Edge, the fourth guitar solo wasn't right tonight'. 'Oh, sorry Bono'. "If that's what people think rock'n'roll is ..." The 32-year-old singer added: "This is the best job in the world. It's even better when you're the best rock star. "I'm the best f**king rock'n'roll singer this country's ever had." Oasis begin their UK and Irish stadium tour at Glasgow's Hampden Park on June 29. |
