The actor wants his ex-wife to attend his wedding to Katie Holmes so she can set a good example to their children.

A source said: "He wants her to be there to show the world there are on good terms. He also told her it would mean so much to their kids. Tom hasn't set a date but he hinted it will be by the end of the year."
