Christina Aguilera has dropped a song she wanted to to include on her new album - because it was written by Britney Spears!

She rejected the song when she discovered the name Aurora Lynne was a song writing pseudonym used by Brit.

A source said: "Christina wasn't too happy to discover it had been penned by her arch rival."
