Producers of American Idol have asked Whitney Houston to be a judge on the fifth season of the show. The 41-year-old R&B singer is the producers' first choice as a replacement for Paula Abdul if she leaves to become a judge on Fox' spin-off So You Think You Can Dance reality show, reports America's Star magazine. Mariah Carey has also reportedly been approached to appear in the show the Star reports. |
