Scarlett Johansson says she is not proud of her films and thinks acting is a relatively pointless profession. In an interview with German daily Financial Times Deutschland, she said: "As actors, we make movies, we don't save lives. What I do, it's actually not that important." She added: "I'm also not proud of my films. That was never a criteria." She said she always just wanted to make movies that she herself would pay to see, adding: "I definitely want to be in a Tim Burton film. That's right at the top of my list." She also revealed she would like to direct she added: "I would even make an advert if I had to, if it meant I could direct at least once. As long as it wasn't for tampons or something embarrassing." |
