| Alba set to star in I Dream Of Jeannie remake |
Jessica Alba looks set to star in a big screen version of popular US 60s sitcom I Dream Of Jeannie.
The 24-year-old Fantastic Four actress is to team up with Saturday Night Live comic actor Jimmy Fallon in a remake of the show which originally starred Barbara Eden as a genie alongside astronaut Anthony Nelson played by Dallas actor Larry Hagman.
It's understood Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson and Kate Hudson were all considered for the role before producers decided on Alba.
Meanwhile, Alba has decided not to join the sequel to Fantastic Four which will see the original actors, Michael Chiklis, Ioan Gruffud, Chris Evans and Julian McMahon team up again in the superhero action movie.
