Roman Polanski's Oliver Twist will get its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. Terry Gilliam's film Tideland and a documentary about Bob Dylan directed by Martin Scorsese will both premiere at the event. Among the stars expected to attend the festival to promote movies are Sir Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, Natalie Portman and Jackie Chan. The festival will open with the controversial Indian film Water, which sparked violent protests when filming began five years ago reports BBC online. The Canadian festival opens on 8 September and runs for 10 days. |
