 Ananova:
Brown turns down reunion deal

Former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown has revealed he's turned down a 1.8 million dollars to tour with the band.

Brown says he doesn't want to reunite with the group as he feels the magic is no longer there.

According to IOL.com he said: "We were like brothers once and that spirit is what made us. But now that spirit simply isn't there.

"It's not about the money. I just don't see how we could recreate what we had. It would spoil everything by trying."

Guitarist John Squire, drummer Alan Wren and bassist Gary Mounfield have also been offered the same amount of money.
