Babyshambles and Coldplay join War Child line-up

Babayshambles and Coldplay have added their support to the new War Child album.

A host of bands have been in the studio over the last 24 hours laying down new material for the album released today.

Pete Doherty and his band are recording a new track - Bolloywood To Battersea - for inclusion on the LP reports NME.com.

Coldplay are donating the song How You See The World to the album.

The album is already set to feature contributions from Mylo, Radiohead, The Go! Team, The Magic Numbers, The Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Chiefs, Gorillaz, Keane, Antony And The Johnsons, Elbow, Damien Rice, The Zutons, The Coral, Maximo Park, Hard-Fi, Bloc Party and Razorlight.

All of the money raised by the new record will be used by War Child to provide both material and psychological support and rehabilitation to children on the edge of conflict and post-conflict societies.
