Andrea Corr is to star in a new supernatural thriller from the producer of Bend it Like Beckham.

Deepak Nayer, who also made Bride and Prejudice, is to film The Threat in London and India.

it's about a half-Indian, half-English businessman haunted by a mysterious woman from his past who he doesn't remember.

Mahesh Mathai will direct the movie which will co-star Troy actress Saffron Burrows, Linus Roache (Batman Begins) and Bollywood actor Roshan Seth.

At one stage Scream actress Neve Campbell and Naveen Andrews, bestknown for his Sikh soldier role in The English Patient, were linked to the movie.

Nayar told The Times of India, "It's a supernatural thriller like The Sixth Sense and is set in London and India."

Filming is due to begin later this month.

Andrea, 31, made her film debut with a cameo role along with her siblings in Alan Parker's 1991 movie The Commitments.

Her latest movie role playing a psychologist in The Bridge premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
