Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was named favourite kids film at this year's Children's Baftas.

Freddie Highmore who played Charlie in the film collected the award at the ceremony in London.

The Incredibles was named Best Feature Film reports IOL.com.

Other winners on the night included The Little Reindeer for Best Animation, Rad: The Groms tour America for Best Entertainment and Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks for Best International.
