Rod Stewart's new baby son has been named after Penny Lancaster's grandfather who was killed by a double-decker bus. The singer gave his seventh child the middle name Wallace in memory of Penny's grandpa, reports the Mirror. Penny's father Graham, who was present at the birth, said: "My mother was very emotional when she found out. It's a wonderful tribute." Wallace Lancaster was hit by the bus three years ago aged 93. Graham, of Chigwell, Essex, added: "There's no Scottish connection with our family but Wallace is a Scottish name so Rod really liked it." Penny and Rod, 60, are still deciding on the baby's first name. Before the birth, the 34-year-old model said her favourite choices were Jimmy and Charlie. |
