 Ananova:
Laurence gets second chance on WWTBAM

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has been given another chance after blowing the £1m question on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Laurence and wife Jackie were asked: "Translated from the Latin, what is the motto of the US?" Laurence replied: "It's In God We Trust."

But TV bosses said the answer was 'One Out Of Many', reports the Daily Mirror.

'In God We Trust' is the official motto of the US and appears on its currency.

But it is not a translation from Latin - One Out Of Many is another US motto translated from "E Pluribus Unum".

Show maker Celador admitted the mix-up, adding: "We have invited them back to resume the game with a new question."

The Llewelyn-Bowens had seen their record £500,000 charity prize money plummet to £32,000 on the celebrity edition of the show to be screened on February 11.

Laurence said: "We feel as if we've been reprieved from the firing squad."

he US Embassy said neither of the answers was correct, adding: "In God We Trust is the motto of the US, but it wasn't translated from Latin. So he's right and wrong."
