British film Nanny McPhee starring Emma Thompson made it into second place taking £7.9m in its opening weekend.

Last week's number one, Underworld: Evolution, slipped two places to number three.

Annapolis secured fourth place in the chart, followed by Red Riding Hood-inspired movie Hoodwinked reports BBC online.
