Sharon Stone says the reason she looks good at 48 is she always takes the stairs.

Speaking at last night's UK premiere of her new film Basic Instinct II she said: "I'm thinking I ought to make an exercise video. I've exercised a little but over a long period of time."

She was joined at the premiere by her British co-star David Morrissey.

Stone said Morrissey made a very sexy leading man.

Speaking about their nude scenes together, she added: "I was thrilled when he took his clothes off."

Basic Instinct II: Risk Addiction sees Stone reprise her role as ice-pick-wielding killer Catherine Tramell.

Morrissey plays a psychiatrist hired to evaluate Tramell after the mysterious death of a sports star character played by former footballer Stan Collymore, who also attended the premiere.
