The Who have confirmed a release date for their limited edition mini-opera.

The 11-minute mini-album Wire & Glass will be released on July 10, reports NME.com.

to precede their full length return in October.

Wire & Glass is one song split into the six parts: Sound Round, Pick Up The Peace, Endless Wire, We Got A Hit, They Made My Dreams Come True, and Mirror Door.

The song is set to be part of a "longer mini-opera" on the forthcoming full Who album, due out in October.
