Coronation Street star Jacqueline Pirie has announced she is to marry a fellow actor.

The actress, better known as Linda Baldwin, met fiance Mark Simpkin on the set of the ITV soap.

He played Craig, a friend of Mike Baldwin's son Mark.

The pair kept the romance secret for months, reports the Daily Record.
