The actress who plays Linda Baldwin in Coronation Street has revealed she is pregnant.

Jacqueline Pirie says the pregnancy is at a very early stage but says she's "very happy".

Pirie and her three-year-old daughter have moved in with her boyfriend Simon Chadwick. The couple had only been dating a few weeks when Pirie fell pregnant.

The Sun says the couple are now talking about getting married.

It is believed the pregnancy could be written into Coronation Street. An insider said : "Who knows? Mike Baldwin might be a dad again!"
