Kylie Minogue is hopeful that her new album will be released in time for Christmas.

The pint-sized Aussie is ready to return after time out battling breast cancer, and is preparing to release her first album since 2003's Body Language.

The pop princess told The Sun that she hopes the album will be ready for release in the festive period - and that she was gutted that ten new tracks were leaked on the internet recently.

"The possibility that the album will be finished with a release before Christmas is very exciting," Kylie told The Sun.

"It was disheartening to find that a number of demos were stolen and placed online," she added.
