Britney Spears new boyfriend has called her a "practicing alcoholic".

The Toxic singer has been trying to down play her stint in rehab believing she should not have been sent there by her mother.

She told the Daily Star: "I never had a problem. I didn't go out for a while, and then when I broke up with Kevin, I decided to let my hair down. That's all."

But Brit's new beau and Alcoholic Anonymous councilor has tarnished her image further by stating: "She is still a practicing alcoholic".

This is another blow to Brit's attempts at regaining her pre-breakdown image. She recently issued a restraining order on her mother following the rehab incident.
