A post on Avril Lavigne's Myspace site that dismisses recent plagiarism claims has vanished. Last week Tommy Dybar of '70's group The Rubinoos filed a lawsuit claiming her recent track Girlfriend was a rip off of their own 1978 song I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend. Many online sources have quoted the Sk8ter Girl's blog entry that states: "I have been falsely accused of ripping their song off." Since then it seems Avril's blog entry has disappeared. Has the punk princess been silenced?
