Lily Allen has slated George Bush in her latest blog entry but says she loves America despite her recent comments against the country.

Smile singer Lily made several high-profile anti-American remarks while on stage at the V festival.

In her latest MySpace blog the Smile singer wrote: "Just because I hate George Bush doesn't mean I hate America."

Having been denied a US visa Lily is not happy with US immigration and told fans at V Festival: "I'm been banned from America. That's nice. Oh well, that means I can't go back there. Good."

This led to media reports that she hated America but Lily has now set the record straight.

She writes: "I think the US is a great place and I am really sad that I can't be there for my commitments scheduled for the near future. What I said about George Bush this weekend bears no relation to what happened a couple of weeks ago with my visa."
