Amy Winehouse won the Artist's Choice Award at the MTV Europe Music Awards, but lost out on her other two nominations, with Avril Lavigne pinching Most Addictive Track. Amy was booed by the crowd when collecting the award but won them over with a performance of Back To Black. Fellow Brits Muse beat her in the Best UK & Ireland Act category. It was a double win for mini pop-punk Avril Lavigne, bagging Solo Artist 2007 and Most Addictive Track for Girlfriend. Other big winners were Rihanna, who took the Ultimate Urban accolade, Linkin Park, who scooped Band Of 2007, and Album Of The Year was awarded to Nelly Furtado for Loose.
