Justin Timberlake and Prince have won tour awards from US music mag Billboard.

SexyBack singer Justin was named breakthrough artist on the merit of his latest FutureSex LoveShow tour, while Prince's incredible 21 night sold-out residency at London's O2 Arena received the top Boxscore award.

The Police were the big winners at the fourth annual awards in New York though, as they scooped the top tour and top draw prizes, which recognize the top-grossing tour and the top ticket-selling tour, respectively.

Meanwhile, Download festival was deemed the top festival, with its promoter and Madonna's new home, Live Nation heralded as best promoter.
