Nicolas Cage is to play a super-intelligent mole in a new Disney film.

He will provide the voice for Speckles, one of three animal spies trying to thwart an evil billionaire.

Steve Buscemi will play a hamster called Bucky and Tracy Morgan will voice Blaster the guinea pig.

The film called G-Force will mix live action and CGI, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Bill Nighy and Arnett are among those who will play human characters.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer told the Hollywood Reporter: "It's a good story; it's unique characters, it's half animation, half live action.

"It falls right into the Disney family of films - the kind of films we make, like National Treasure, which entertain everybody from the smallest kid to the oldest grandparent.
